📲 Can we do biometric attendance in mobile?+
Yes. eSSL offers the Employee Self Service (ESS) mobile app for Android and iOS. Employees can mark attendance via GPS, capture live selfies, view logs, and apply for leave. The app syncs with the eTimeTrackLite software and supports geofencing.

🔧 Troubleshooting & Device Issues
🌐 How do I add a new employee to the eSSL device??+
Employees can be enrolled directly on the biometric device via the Admin menu (using a fingerprint or face). Alternatively, you can use the software. You can add them to the master list in the eTimeTrackLite software and sync the data to the machine.
⚠️ What is the reason for biometric rejection?+
Common reasons: dry or wet fingers, poor finger placement, worn fingerprint sensor, low battery, or incorrect user enrolment. Ensure the sensor is clean, use a different finger, or re‑enrol the fingerprint. For repeated issues, consider using face recognition or RFID card alternatives.
🔴 Why is my biometrics not working?+
Check that the device is powered on and the sensor is clean. Ensure employees are enrolled correctly. Verify network connectivity if used for real‑time attendance. Low battery or faulty wiring can also cause malfunction. Reset the device if necessary or contact support.
🔐 What is the eSSL default admin password?+
The default administrator password for most eSSL biometric terminals is 0 (zero). Some newer models may have a blank password or 1234. After initial login, change the password immediately to secure the device.
⚡ How to power on an ESSL biometric machine?+
